Dr. Carlos Emanuel received his medical degree from Cayetano Heredia University School of Medicine (Lima, Peru) in 1987 and graduated as the School of Medicine Valedictorian. He completed his internship and residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital (Miami, FL). He completed his cardiology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital (Detroit, MI) and completed additional training for interventional cardiology fellowship also at Henry Ford Hospital (Detroit, MI). Dr. Emanuel is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians; a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology; and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, board certified in Interventional Cardiology, and board certified in Nuclear Cardiology. He also serves as the Director of the Valley Hospital Medical Center Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory where he participates in the teaching and education of the interns and residents at Valley Hospital Medical Center Graduate Medical Education Program. Dr. Emanuel speaks Spanish fluently. He has been with Heart Center of Nevada since 2002. Dr. Emanuel was recognized as a "Top Doctor" for his exemplary work in Cardiology by his peers in the August 2011 issue of Desert Companion.
