Dr. Georges Tanbe was born in Thionville, France and grew up in Syria. He graduated from the University of Aleppo with a medical degree in 2005. He completed his internal medicine residency at Tufts University and went on to complete his cardiovascular fellowship training at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. He then joined the University of Massachusetts were he completed his interventional cardiology fellowship training followed by a vascular peripheral training at Prairie Heart Institute in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Tanbe is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology imaging. Dr Tanbe has special interest in coronary angioplasty particularly through the radial approach, endovascular peripheral /aortic interventions, transcutaneous aortic valve replacement and co-founder of the limb salvage program at Spring Valley Hospital.
