Dr. Tatari is an interventional cardiologist who joined the group in December of 2021. He was born in New York and raised in Long Island, New York. He attended medical school at New York Institute of Technology and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to do his residency at the heart hospital of Mercer county St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton New Jersey. After this, he got the opportunity to helm the cardiology fellowship at Medical Center Bowling Green through the University of Kentucky as one of the two new fellows. He still wanted to further his training, thus decided to pursue the rigorous interventional cardiology training at the prestigious SUNY Downstate Medical center in Brooklyn New York.
Dr. Tatari currently is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology along with being a fellow of the American college of cardiology (FACC).
Besides practicing general cardiology, Dr. Tatari specializes in the treatment of coronary artery disease and is adept in diagnostic and interventional procedures through the radial artery approach. He specializes in using atherectomy, intravascular lithotripsy, intravascular imaging and thrombectomy. He also is skilled in using mechanical support devices such as intra-aortic balloon pumps and Impellas.
